Crockpot Style Swiss Steak


  • 2 lbs. lean round steak, about 1 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons season all salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 carrots, pared and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
Cut steak into 8 serving pieces.  Coat with flour mixed with salt and pepper;  place in crockpot; add chopped vegetables.  Mix Worcestershire sauce into tomato sauce and pour over meat and vegetables.  Cover and cook on low setting for 8 – 10 hours.  Serves 8.
